About Us

About the Project Team

Experience, vision, and community working together.

Behind Riverwalk at Studio City is a team of developers, designers, and city partners committed to shaping a project that blends modern living with community values. From concept to completion, each partner plays a vital role in bringing this vision to life along the Ventura Boulevard Corridor.

Genton Property Group is the lead developer of Riverwalk at Studio City, bringing a proven track record of delivering high-quality residential and mixed-use projects throughout Southern California. Their portfolio includes luxury housing and hospitality destinations such as the Four Seasons Private Residences Los Angeles, a project that set a new standard for design and community integration. With Riverwalk at Studio City, Genton Property Group is committed to creating a modern neighborhood destination that balances the needs of residents, local businesses, and the broader Studio City community.

MVE + Partners

Architect

MVE + Partners serves as the design architect for Riverwalk at Studio City, shaping the project’s architecture and public spaces with a focus on timeless modern design and community engagement. Their work emphasizes thoughtful massing, pedestrian-friendly environments, and cohesive integration of residential, retail, and open space. For this project, MVE + Partners has used the unique scale of a full city block to create a unified vision that avoids the piecemeal development patterns often seen along Ventura Boulevard. The result is a design that is both sophisticated and welcoming, reflecting the future of Studio City.

The City of Los Angeles

The City of Los Angeles Planning Department provides oversight and guidance for the Riverwalk at Studio City project, ensuring compliance with local codes and planning frameworks. The approvals process includes review under the Ventura Boulevard Specific Plan, Density Bonus Determination, and Project Compliance requirements for developments of this scale. In addition, the project requires a Vesting Tentative Tract Map to unify and modify the existing parcels, as well as a Master Conditional Use Permit for on-site dining and retail services. By working closely with city officials and the planning team, Riverwalk at Studio City is designed to meet municipal standards while providing lasting benefits for the community.

Riverwalk at Studio City is currently under formal review with the City of Los Angeles, including applications for density bonus incentives, compliance determinations, and approvals for design flexibility related to transitional height, setbacks, and stepbacks. These entitlements are a standard part of major mixed-use developments in the city and are necessary to achieve the project’s vision of a cohesive, community-oriented environment. Case numbers and status updates will be made publicly available through the City Planning Department, ensuring that residents, stakeholders, and community members can remain informed throughout the review process.
